Karly is a Nashville and NYC–based photographer who believes the best stories are the ones that feel real. Blending sports, lifestyle, and brand storytelling, she has worked with athletes and global brands such as Facebook, Johnson & Johnson, Adidas, Gymshark, Oracle, American Eagle, CorePower Yoga, the NFL, NBA, X Games, and CrossFit, to capture people in their most authentic form. Known for her documentary-style approach, Karly’s work celebrates human connection, emotion, and presence—reminding us that creativity is most powerful when it’s true to who we are.

Her journey began as a kid who loved both art and sport. At 12, she picked up her first camera after winning an eBay bid for a Canon Rebel, then spent her middle and high school years carrying it up and down the shores of Lake Superior, documenting friends and family. She decided to pursue law in college—never imagining photography could become a career—working in the legal field eventually clarified what mattered most. Choosing a path aligned with her core values of creativity, movement, and storytelling, Karly took the leap. That decision led her into the fitness space, ultimately bringing her to Nashville to photograph six-time Fittest Woman on Earth Tia-Clair Toomey and help lead the PRVN brand. After a year and a half in-house, she stepped fully into creative freelance work—continuing to document stories rooted in authenticity, grit, and real life.
